About the founder
Hi, I'm Loan Trinh.
I spent more than two decades on the lender's side of the table - reviewing deals, underwriting businesses, and watching good transactions fall apart because no one looked at them through a banker's eyes before going to market.
Today I help business owners avoid that outcome. Through Preferred Commercial Capital and The Clean Exit, I bring the same underwriting discipline I used for $200 million portfolios to your exit - before a buyer ever walks through the door.
Why I do this
I saw the same gap, deal after deal.

Business owners come to the table with years of hard work, loyal customers, and a company that feels like family. But the party that actually writes the check - the lender - often sees risk the owner never knew was there.
Over my career I've analyzed hundreds of credit packages, presented to loan committees, and managed a $200 million private banking portfolio. I trained in a formal two-year credit underwriting program and worked with high-net-worth individuals and commercial owners preparing for a sale.
The Clean Exit exists because every owner deserves to know what a lender will see - before a buyer walks through the door.
Experience
A career built on the details that make or break a deal.
My path started at Chase Bank in operations and compliance, leading a team of 8–10 employees and learning how a branch actually runs. I then moved into commercial and private banking at Amegy Bank of Texas, completing a formal two-year credit underwriting program that still shapes how I evaluate every deal: cash flow, collateral, character, and the story the numbers tell.
Over the next decade I managed a $200 million private banking portfolio spanning mortgage, commercial, construction, and consumer loans. I presented to loan committees, worked directly with high-net-worth individuals and commercial owners, and learned what makes a lender say yes - or walk away.
After the bank side, I worked closer to owners as a business and commercial real estate broker at Sunbelt Business Brokers, consulted with owners on credit presentations and financing at Valiant Capital, and structured debt placement transactions for commercial owners at CommLoan.
That path - operations, underwriting, portfolio management, brokerage, and advisory - led me to create Preferred Commercial Capital and The Clean Exit. I help owners see their company the way a lender will, so they can exit on their own terms.
